Baked Chicken Casserole

In bottom of large baking dish put 1-1/2 cups raw rice. Sprinkle 1 cup grated cheese (opt.) over rice. Put chicken breasts on top of cheese. Salt and pepper as desired.

Pour 3 cups chicken broth over all of the above. Sprinkle 1/2 pkg dry onion soup over breasts. Cover with 1 can cream of chicken soup (optional).

Bake 1 hour at 325° uncovered. Remove from oven and put 1/2 cup grated cheese over top. Cover with foil and bake 1/2 hour more. Serves 8.
