Banana Slush

- 1 cup sugar
- 2-3/4 cups water
Stir together until sugar is dissolved.
Combine in blender until smooth:
- 2 ripe bananas, cut up
- 1-1/2 cups pineapple juice
- 1 6-oz can frozen orange juice concentrate
- 2 Tbs lemon juice
Add to sugar mixture with 1-1/2 cups more pineapple juice. Pour into a container and freeze.
To serve, let stand at room temperature for 20-30 minutes. Scrape into slush and slowly add 1 liter 7-up, Sprite, or other carbonated drink down the side of the punch bowl. Stir gently to mix.
Makes 23 (about 4-oz) servings.
