Cinnamon Swirl Loaf


On a lightly floured pastry sheet, use rolling pin to roll dough to a 15x7-inch rectangle. Brush entire surface lightly with water. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle mixture on dough. Beginning with narrow end, roll up jelly-roll style; seal edge and ends. Place sealed edge down, in a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Let rise till almost doubled (about 1 hour).

Bake in 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until done. Loaf should be lightly browned on the top and hollow sounding when thumped on the top. Remove from pans, cool on wire rack. Drizzle warm loaf with Powered Sugar Icing, if desired.
