Swedish Cabbage Rolls

- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tsp salt
- dash pepper
- 1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1-1/2 cups cooked rice
Mix all ingredients together.
- Large Cabbage
Carefully remove leaves from cabbage, heavy center vein of leaf my be slit 2-1/2 inches. Immerse cabbage leaves in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Place 1/4 cup meat mixture on each leaf, fold in side and roll end over the meat. Put in 9"x12" baking dish. Cover with sauce and bake at 350° for 1-1/4 hours. Baste once or twice with sauce. Makes about 10-12 rolls.
Sauce:
- 1-1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1 Tbs brown sugar
- 1 Tbs lemon juice
