Tuna Roll
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 6-oz cans tuna drained and flaked
- 1 cup dry bread or cracker crumbs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- or 2 Tbs instant dry onion
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Mix together in a mixing bowl.
Dough for roll:
- 2 cups Hearty Wheat Master Mix (or Biscuit recipe)
- 1/2 tsp parsley (opt.)
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (opt.)
- 1/2 cup water
Combine until dough follows fork around the bowl. Knead on a floured board 10 to 12 times. Roll into 12"x18" rectangle.
Spread tuna mixture over dough. Roll up and place open side down on a greased baking sheet. Cut slits in 2" intervals about half way through the roll.
Bake at 375° for 20 min.
Serve with mushroom sauce.
